We are immensely proud to announce our 2024 winning Grant Champions.

We extend congratulations to our first place winner, the Springs Food Pantry, which will receive a grant of $35,000, championed by Kira Brandman and Amy Leopold.

For those new to PYP, Amy Leopold presented the Springs Food Pantry during our inaugural year, fell a few votes short, but refused to give up. Her determination, unwavering passion and commitment to the Pantry’s mission are truly commendable. 👏🏻

A special shoutout to Kira as well for her recent recognition by the Suffolk County Legislature for her volunteerism to the Springs Food Pantry.

In second place, we proudly recognize Project Most, presented by the remarkable Melanie Hayward. Project Most will receive our second place grant of $10,000.

We sincerely appreciate the dedication of our members who enthusiastically brought to light the outstanding work of five amazing non-profit organizations making a profound impact on our community. Our aspiration is to ultimately secure funding for all. Challenge accepted. We hope you’ll join us in 2025.

This past Saturday we had 6️⃣ Grant Champions

This past Saturday we had 6️⃣ Grant Champions Pitch their hearts out in support of 5️⃣ incredible hyper-local non-profits. The room was FILLED with passion, love and support.

We couldn’t be more proud to announce that through our Members’ collective efforts we will be able to give away $45,000 to 2️⃣ deserving non-profits in the 2024 grant cycle!

BUT, PYP is more than just about gifting money to worthy organizations. We take tremendous pride in shining a light on the many people doing extraordinary work to make our community the very special place that it is.

What comes after Pitch Day?? Next we Vote. Stay tuned to learn which two non-profits will take home💰.

This year, we’re thrilled to offer TWO prizes:

Pitch Day is a shining example of what happens when badass women come together… the outcome can be EXTRAORDINARY! Since our inception in 2016 in Greenwich, CT, we’ve expanded to Seattle (2017), Chicago (2020), the Hamptons (2023), and most recently, Westchester (2024)!

On a personal note, a HUGE shoutout to my original co-founders, Nina Calo Lindia, Dara K. Johnson, and Rachael Lerner LeMasters, for transforming our vision into something magical. The impact we’ve collectively made in our communities fills my heart with gratitude.

PYP takes tremendous pride in shining a light on and financially supporting (nearly $2,500,000 awarded to date!) the remarkable work of non-profits that make our communities better.

Presented by the incredible Grant Champion, Roxy Zajac, the Road Forward Scholarship Fund was established to support local East End students who aspire to achieve higher education but face significant financial challenges. The organization’s core value is a strong belief in education as the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. @theroadforwardscholarshipfund @roxyzajac
